MERIDIAN, ID – The City of Meridian, in partnership with Republic Services, offers convenient ways to compost real Christmas trees.
“We are excited to bring back this seasonal composting option for Meridian residents,” said Sayard Schultz, Solid Waste Coordinator. “Having a convenient way to compost Christmas trees helps keep our community vibrant and sustainable.”
What: Real Christmas Trees. Please remove all decorations and flocking and cut any tree larger than 6 feet into 4-foot sections.
Curbside Collection Dates: January 5 – 9
Drop-off Collection Dates:
- Meridian Transfer Station (2130 W Franklin Rd.) from December 26 - January 17
- Ada County Landfill (10300 N Seamans Gulch Rd., Boise) from December 26 - January 10
